Shadowplay is our ongoing swatch and look ritual for the Devinah community. Sometimes it is an October anniversary tradition. Other times it is a seasonal theme or a one night only prompt. All of it lives under one name and one idea: share the magic of the shadows you already own.

This is not just about swatching eyeshadows. It is about swatching your story. The shades that mark your memories, your mood, and your magic.

✨ What is Shadowplay?

Shadowplay is our way to come together around Devinah singles. Each ritual uses a simple prompt. It might be three meaningful shades from your collection, a seasonal color story, or a theme like winter shimmer or autumn fog.

The current Shadowplay prompt will always be explained in the latest Shadowplay blog post. When in doubt, choose up to three Devinah singles that feel right for the theme and tell us why they matter to you.

🌾 How to Take Part

  1. Check the current Shadowplay blog post for the theme and dates.
  2. Pick your Devinah singles that fit the prompt (often three, unless the blog says otherwise).
  3. Finger swatch them or create a simple eye look. Mattes, shimmers, multichromes, or a mix.
  4. Style your photo with any backdrop that feels like you. Spooky, witchy, seasonal, or simple and clean.
  5. Label your shades so other Devinah lovers can find them.
  6. Share your entry with us in one of two ways:
  • On Instagram: Tag @devinahcosmetics and use #DevinahShadowplay plus the seasonal tag listed in the current Shadowplay blog (for example #FrostboundInSnowlight).
  • Not on Instagram? Use the upload form on this page to send your photo and story straight to our studio.
