What was your very first makeup product?
“A cobalt blue mascara I bought when I was 13. The idea of blue lashes was so exciting. I still love colorful mascaras.”
How would your 9th grade teacher describe you?
“A shy, always-does-her-homework girl who never caused trouble.”
Which eyeshadow color have you not worn in public?
“I’ve worn them all. My favorite is green, but I don’t avoid other colors.”
Teen favorite music?
“The Moffatts in the 90s. I had a huge crush on Dave. ‘Love’ was my favorite track.”
Celebrity makeup style you love?
“Penélope Cruz for smokey eyes. J.Lo for the glow.”
Paper books or Kindle?
“Both. I was a big bookworm, but now I love the portability of an e-reader.”
What makeup did you secretly snag growing up?
“My aunt’s gray and gray-blue eyeshadows. She knew I played with them.”
Dream car?
“Honestly, to live car-free. I’d rather walk if I can.”
Clumpy lashes — guilty?
“I hate clumps, but many ‘volume’ mascaras do that on my fine lashes.”
What do you love most about Devinah?
“Innovative products in every color and finish, made by a passionate small team. Favorites: Galaxy Shifters and a few core mattes.”
